Ubercart 2.0 Beta 1 Released for Drupal 6

The Ubercart e-commerce module package has just made it into beta territory on Drupal 6. We were holding off making an official release until after modules that we integrated with for out of the box image support achieved some level of stability. With both CCK and Views now trucking along on Drupal 6, it's past time for Ubercart to make the switch. We've also been holding up to get some comprehensive testing, but looking at the usage statistics, there are about 1,000 people more "testing" Ubercart in development and production sites than we imagined.

UC Promotions

The UC Promotions module allows you to offer promotions to your users that are redeemable using fixed or bulk generated promotion codes. The system for promotion redemption is flexible and powerful, allowing single use codes, unlimited use codes, and bulk generated codes that let you easily create 10,000 codes and distribute them to customers for online redemption. Promotions are tied into Workflow-ng, allowing you to take action when a valid code is entered through a set of Workflow-ng configurations using a promotion specific "Event."
This module does not require Ubercart to work, but by default the administration pages may be found under the Store administration Configuration menu.
Demo and documentation forthcoming...
Sponsored by Warner Bros. Records.

UC Free Order Payment Method

This module works in conjunction with the payment checkout pane using the order total preview to present a "Free order" payment method to customers when their order total drops to $0.00 or less. By default, this method will be hidden, and server side verification of an order total will be used to prevent customers from gaming the system.
Simply upload and enable this module to be up and running. There is a single permission available so you can test the way the payment method displays on your site. It includes a link that lets you add or remove a $2,000 test discount to the order so you can make sure it works properly. Of course, it will stop you if you try to check out, since the discount is only recognized on the checkout form. For further testing, you can simply create a product worth $0.
Many thanks to Warner Bros. Records for sponsoring the core improvements during the Ubercart 1.x development cycle that made a module like this possible.

Keyword Autocomplete

Keyword Autocomplete lets you add autocomplete functionality to your site's search forms based on previously searched strings. The module saves keyword strings entered in search forms and increments a counter for the strings on subsequent searches. It then populates an autocomplete on search forms from these saved keyword strings in order of the most searched keywords to the least.
The administrative interface lets you view, edit, delete, or add saved keywords so you can seed the autocomplete with keyword strings you think your users will find relevant to your site. Settings let you specify which forms to attach the autocomplete to (search form, search block, search theme form) and how many keyword strings to display.

UC Node Checkout

This module allows you to map a node type to an Ubercart product. When a user creates a node of that type, the specified product is added to the shopping cart with a node reference to the newly created node. Options in the module allow you to turn links in the shopping cart into edit links for the node, display a summary of the node details in the shopping cart and on the order screens, and hide CCK fields on the node type from users who don't have the "edit content" permission. This makes the module an ideal candidate for registration site and customizable product sites that contain additional fields only administrators should have access to when processing the orders.

UC Restrict Qty

UC Restrict Qty lets you add a very basic Restrict Qty. to a product in your Ubercart store to limit the quantity of that product in the shopping cart to 1. This is useful for single purchase products or for instances where it just doesn't make sense for a customer to purchase more than one and you want to prevent it from happening.

UC Node Access

UC Node Access lets you attach Node access features to products in your Ubercart store. These features allow customers who purchase the product to receive view access to nodes on your site either indefinitely or for a limited time based on the feature's settings. UC Node Access does not handle access grants itself but rather depends on other modules to define handlers that integrate UC Node Access with the various node access modules developed for Drupal.
Currently integrated node access modules include:
